Molly McCue

lover of
all things story

Hi there

Throughout my work in tech, design, and the arts, I've learned that great leadership always creates space for people to change and grow. It's during those times of transition that I enjoy helping creative teams tell their stories, define culture, and connect to something greater than themselves.

Musically I'm known for soulful vocals, and I've performed for over a decade with many artists and faith communities. In 2008, a passion for the arts inspired my friends and me to found a nonprofit that designed new ways for artists and churches to create together. We called it ByFor.

In 2015, Fuller Seminary Northwest acquired ByFor to form The Cascadia Residency. I worked with The Cascadia Residency for its pilot year and launched several experiential arts programs in Seattle and Calgary. This work inspired my new blog on spiritual formation.

In addition, I work a rotating roster of startups and Fortune 500 companies, bringing form to ideas where design and tech meet. My experience includes years as a strategist, storyteller, and global event producer.

My trend and insights work in inclusive design is featured in Cooper Hewitt's Access + Ability exhibit, and was recently awarded by IxDA, included in KPCB's 2017 Design in Tech Report, and honored as a FastCo World Changing Idea. My writing has also been published in Arcade.
